Born a midget and hunchback, Blessed Margaret's parents left her to live walled up beside a chapel when she was only 6 years old. She could still receive the sacraments, though, and eventually she became a lay Dominican when her parents abandoned her. She died when only 33 years old, and at her funeral a crippled girl was miraculously healed. Here is the story of this holy woman who lived from 1287 to 1320.
