Product description:

The Celtic cross, which originated in the 5th Century A.D., has a shape based on a pagan sun symbol (the sunwheel), which came to be the symbol of the Christian Godhead.  Decorations of continuous and interwoven knots and spirals represent the continuity of life, death, and rebirth.

The Celtic Cross of Dupplin originated in Foreviot, Tayside, Scotland around 1000 A.D.  This sculptural reproduction is made of hydrostone and has a permanent hook attached to the back for easy hanging on a wall.  It measures 12" tall.
