This is an excellent Catholic reference book, particularly if you're a trivia or history hound like myself. Who knew that there were over 50 different recognized Saints named "Paul"? Who knew there was a St. Bobo? In our day, we really only hear about a handful of Saints from the history of the Catholic Church.

This book is filled with loads of bios (some longer, some shorter) of Saints and a few illustrations as well. I can imagine if you are looking for a name for a new baby, or a Confirmation name, this book would be extremely helpful. (This review pertains to the "unrevised" edition of the Encyclopedia of Catholic Saints).
