Shipping & Returns

Below are some answers to questions you may have about our shipping and return policies. If you have a question and cannot find an answer below, feel free to contact us.

Time of Delivery: We usually send out orders within 24 hours of receiving them, unless we do not have a particular item in stock. Please understand that if an item is out of stock, we will re-order it from our supplier as soon as possible. At times our suppliers experience delays in acquiring or manufacturing items, and we have little control over this. If you need an item by a particular date, please tell us in the comments section on the order page at the time of your order. We would rather tell you that we cannot send you an item by a certain time and lose a sale than have you wait for a long time and be unhappy about it.

If we have part of your order in stock and part of it on back-order, generally we will send you what we have right away and send you the rest of it when we can (there are no extra costs for you when we do this). If you have a question about time of delivery of a certain item, please ask us before you order. We send orders via the U.S. Postal Service, which means we can send to PO boxes and can ship on Saturdays (usually before noon).

Large Quantity Orders: If you order a large quantity of items, and you need these by a certain date, please indicate this on your order form in the comments section. This will help us work with our suppliers if we do not have all your items in stock. If we cannot guarantee that we can deliver the items by the time you need them we will tell you.

International Orders: We are happy to ship orders internationally, though the standard shipping rates for U.S. shipping do not apply. We will contact you by e-mail about actual charges for international shipment after you place an order. Please note that all orders require payment in US dollars.

Taxes: Archangelbooks.com is based in Minnesota, and so sales tax will automatically be added to orders with a Minnesota shipping destination.

Return Information: If you are unsatisfied with your purchase you may return the item(s) in the original packaging along with the receipt, and only within 30 days of the transaction date, for a full refund (minus the cost of shipping). If you return something, please make sure that it is packaged securely, and please insure it if it is fragile. We are not responsible for lost or damaged items returned to us. Special orders are non returnable. All prices are subject to change without notice if our suppliers increase prices.

Shipping & Handling Rates: Shipping & Handling rates are dependent upon the subtotal of your order. Please see the chart at the bottom of this page for rates. If you would like express delivery (next day), please contact us and we will notify you of the extra charge.
