How To Order

Thank you for visiting Archangelbooks.com for your Catholic Christian religious gift needs. Although ordering online may be easy for some, it might prove to be a difficult, frustrating, or frightening experience for others. If you need any help, you can read through this page for some easy-to-understand explanations on how to complete your order in a few easy steps.

Basic Ordering

After you have found an item that you would like to purchase on our site, simply press "Add to Cart" while on that product's information page and the item will be placed in the electronic shopping cart. You can change the default quantity, which is set at "1", to any number. In the right column on your screen you will be able to see the contents in your shopping cart and the quantity you have specified. You can keep adding items to your cart, and when you would like to check out, click on "Check Out" which is located on the horizontal bar near the heading of the page.

When you choose to check out, you will be brought to a login or registration screen. If you have ordered from our web site after January 10, 2006, you can log into your account using the e-mail address and password that you supplied when you registered.

If you have not ordered from us online since January 2006, you will need to click on the "Sign Up" button and fill in the form with your billing information. You will also need to supply a password, which enables you to log back into your account at a later date, view your order history, write product reviews if you wish, and use other available features.

The next screen you are brought to is Step 1 of 3: Delivery Information. Your order will be shipped to your billing address unless you specify another one. To send your order to a different address, click on "Change". On this page there is also a box where you may write any comments about your order, or if you would like to add a personal note attached to a gift you may do that as well (please mention that it is a gift note if you choose to do this).

On the next screen is Step 2 of 3: Payment Information, where you can see your subtotal, shipping & handling charges, and any applicable taxes that figure in to your total bill. You may choose to pay for your order in one of three ways.

Credit Card: click on the button beside "Credit Card" and then enter your name and other credit card information in the spaces provided. Make sure to include your CVV Number, which is the set of last three digits on the line of numbers on the back of your card.
Pay with Credit Card by Phone: click on the button next to "Phone in your Credit Card info" and you can check out like normal, but you will have to call our store with your card information afterwards. As associate will be there to take your call during normal store hours.
Check or Money Order: if you click the button next to "Check/Money Order", you will be able to complete your order like normal, but you will then have to send in your payment to our store. You can print the e-mail confirmation that you receive and send it to our store address along with your payment (see below).

The next page, Step 3 of 3: Review Your Order, allows you to make any final changes that you would like to make. If you are satisfied with everything, click the Confirm Order button at the bottom. You will be brought to an order confirmation screen that lets you know that your order was successfully placed. At that time, you will be e-mailed a copy of your order.
If you chose to pay by check or money order, you should print the e-mail out and mail it (along with your check, payable to "Archangel Books & Gifts") to us at:

If you chose to pay by phoning in your credit card information, you may do so at any time during normal business hours (you should receive an e-mail that gives this same information).

Site Security

Our credit card order form is secure. You can verify this when you reach the page where you enter your credit card information by clicking on the security tab on your browser (or by viewing the URL address, which should begin with "https://" when in secure mode).

About Credit Card Transactions

We do not process credit card orders automatically at the time you place your order, but rather manually in our store during normal store hours. If there is a problem when we process your credit card will we give you a telephone call to resolve it. Because your order is not processed immediately when you order it (but rather manually in our store) you have the opportunity to edit or cancel your order for a short time after you have placed it. Please call us at 1-800-813-9016, or e-mail us and notify us. If we have not already processed and sent out your order we will be glad to change or cancel your order.
